Buddha Nest Yoga Yin & Yang Teacher Training 200HR

RYS-200Harmonizing the Elements of Yin and Yang

200HR Yoga Alliance Certified Program

Structured to meet the requirements of the Yoga Alliance 200-hour certification, this intensive course is a progressive and practical immersion into the history, skills and wisdom of teaching and practicing yoga with an ethos of balance and harmony.  Our symbiotic approach to yoga encourages you to go beyond the physical postures to a deeper dimension of insight into the delicate synthesis of mind, body and nature.  The curriculum is based on functional anatomy and holistic approaches to healing and well-being, and is enriched with Eastern and Western philosophy. We regard yoga as a personal, transformative journey and integrate its ancient roots into our mind-body teachings. With an ever-present underpinning of mindfulness, we emphasize both the active yang style of vinyasa flow as well as the slow, quiet and stationary process of yin yoga.

You have deepened your practice and teaching skills with a 200HR training but you are looking for a more in-depth exploration of the yin style.  This advanced training furthers your intellectual and experiential range to include the more internal, quiet practice of yin yoga, preparing you to confidently lead others on this mindful path of exploration and awareness.  Learn why yin yoga is important as it relates to our nervous system, internal organ health, energetic vitality and general well-being.  Along with deepening your study of pranayam and mindfulness we explore Chinese meridian theory and apply the ancients wisdom to sequencing of yin poses.  Learn how to group poses for the kidneys/urinary bladder, liver/gallbladder, and stomach/spleen.  You will have the opportunity to experience the poses, and practice leading and assisting others.
